PGA REACH Minnesota is the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of the Minnesota Section PGA. The mission of PGA REACH Minnesota is to enable access to the game of golf utilizing PGA Professionals to positively impact the lives of youth, military, and diverse populations with an emphasis on inclusion.
One of the PGA REACH Minnesota pillars is Youth. We offer several of our own programs like the ‘Sota Series, Youth Putting Challenge, and others, and operate national programs like PGA Jr. League, Drive, Chip & Putt in conjuncture with PGA of America.
Our second PGA REACH Minnesota pillar is Military. We believe it is an honor to give back to our local heroes by providing opportunities through golf. One of these opportunities is our PGA HOPE program, teaching golf to current and former military veterans. Our 100 Holes for HOPE tournament raises money to partially fund these chapters as well.
Our final pillar is Inclusion. We want to make the game accessible and fun for everyone who wants to play, and we believe everyone should have the opportunity to take up this great game. We partner with Special Olympics Minnesota on the Bad Pants Open, and host the Minnesota PGA Foundation Pro-Am to help those with intellectual disabilities.
