The weather caused a two and a half hour delay to start the morning, but the Luther Pro Series #2, Head Pro Championship, and Assistants Mentor Event finished without incident at Rush Creek Golf Course on Monday, June 29.
Somerby Golf Club Head Pro Scott McDonald took home first place in both the Luther Pro Series Event and the Head Professional Championship. Despite a double bogey on the third hole, his only blemish of the round, McDonald finished with 7 birdies for a final Stableford score of 23.
Brent Snyder of Troy Burne Golf Club, Scott Cole of RTG Golf and Jack Hiemenz of Victory Links Golf Course all tied for second in the Luther Pro Series Event # 2 with 21 points. Jack Wawro of The Pines took second place in the Head Pro Championship with 20 points, and Don Berry of Edinburgh USA placed third with 19 points.
Jack Himenez took away the Assistants’ Mentor title. Even with a double bogey on 18, Himenez was able to just edge out Julian Ramirez of Medina Golf and Country Club 21 to 20.
