EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn – The 2024 season kicked off with the Luther Pro Series #1 on Monday, May 6 at Olympic Hills Golf Club. A total of 64 teams competed in the Four-Ball Stroke Play tournament.
Partners Trey Fessler and Aaron McClay put themselves in contention early after making an eagle on the par 4 hole 5, which was also their 5th hole of the day. After their eagle they were sitting at 3-under par and moving towards the top of the leaderboard. As they continued to make clutch birdie putts throughout the round, they separated themselves from the field with a comfortable 3-shot lead with 2 holes to play. At the completion of the round, Fessler/McClay came out on top with a 7-under par 65 to win by 1-shot over 5 other teams.
Thank you to Head Golf Professional, Brett Heisler, PGA, for hosting this event once again and a thank you to our partners – Luther Automotive, Homestretch Golf, Hole-In-One USA, and PGA Tour for their support.
