Shortly after everyone in the morning wave on Saturday, June 10, 2023, completed their rounds, inclement weather overcame the day, which resulted in a suspension of play. There was no further choice but to cut the event to a 36-hole tournament, after the unplayable course conditions occurred on Saturday. Play for round two resumed on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at 11:00AM.
Doeden completed his round in the morning on Saturday shooting a nine under par (62) and remained the leader in the clubhouse. The low round of the day, ten under par, came from Van Holmgren (61), who was making a charge for the title. Holmgren was at a total of thirteen under par, which was just two strokes back from Doeden at fifteen under par. Andrew Israelson and Angus Flanagan were not far behind, sitting at ten under par total.
This meant that Justin Doeden would be the 2023 Tapemark Minnesota PGA Pro-Am Professional Champion with rounds of 65-62-127 (-15) after 36-holes. In 2nd place was Van Holmgren with rounds of 68-61-129 (-13). T3 was Andrew Israelson 69-63-132 (-10) and Angus Flanagan 67-65-132 (-10). Both Lisa Grimes and Joe Honsa held on to their leads after the second round. Grimes finished 71-72-143 (+1) and was low for the Women Professional.
