A SERIES OF WINTER MEET UPS
CONNECTING THROUGH BOOK REVIEWS
*EARN 1 PDR POINT PER MEETING*
GOAL: To foster and enrich the PGA Community of Professionals during the off-season while growing personally and professionally together.
WHO IS INVITED: Anyone associated with the Minnesota PGA who wants to connect with others and grow through reading and discussion. The way to sign up each month is by suggesting a book for the group to read at the link below.
WHEN: Monthly (middle of the month), each off-season, November through March.
Weekdays – 4pm – 5:30 pm
WHERE: Breweries, Coffee Shops, Restaurants in Metro Area (TBA before each meeting)
HOW IT WORKS
- A month in advance, book suggestions are submitted and voted on via a google doc link.
- Must be able to attend the next book review session if you make a suggestion.
- The suggested books should be less than 300 pages.
- The suggested book with the highest voting average on the deadline is the one selected.
- Whomever has their book selected is assigned as the discussion leader that month.
- Each person reads the selected book and we meet to socialize and discuss!
