About the Minnesota PGA

Growing the Game With Over 600 Members

The mission of the Minnesota PGA is to promote the enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf and to contribute to its growth by providing services to golf professionals and the golf industry. The Minnesota PGA will accomplish this mission by enhancing the skills of its professionals and the opportunities for amateurs, employers, manufacturers, employees and the public. The Minnesota PGA geographic region includes the entire states of Minnesota and North Dakota; South Dakota (less areas surrounding cities of Rapid City, Vermillion, and Yankton); and a portion of Western Wisconsin that includes St. Croix County and Superior, Wisconsin.

Congratulations to Muzzy Donohue, winner of the 109th Minnesota State Open Championship presented by Yamaha Golf & Utility. Donohue pulled away in the final round for a 6-stroke victory.

Low amateur honors went to Peyton Coahran and Jon DuToit who finished T4 overall.

2026 Minnesota State Open Champion - Muzzy Donohue

Donohue posted a score of 22-under par (68-65-64-197) to take the title.

Congratulations to Low Amateurs Jon DuToit and Peyton Coahran who tied for fourth overall at 13-under par.

Donohue sinks his birdie chance from 20 feet on the final hole to earn a 6-stroke victory at 22-under 197.

Donohue not slowing down, sinks 15-footer for birdie at the 17th. He heads to the final hole of the 109th Mimnesota State Open presented by @yamaha_gu with a five-stroke lead at -21.

Madsen's approach at the 17th goes long. He'll take bogey and drop to -16, four back of Donohue.

Madsen cards his fifth birdie of the back nine at the 16th to pull within two of Donohue at -17.
