The first ever Ian Leonard Bad Pants Open to benefit Special Olympics Minnesota took place September 15th at Medina Golf & Country Club. Leonard, the chief Meteorologist for FOX 9 News, joined forces with the Section and Special Olympics Minnesota to expand our annual Pro-Am into a much larger event. Through these efforts more than twenty Special Olympics athletes joined PGA Professionals and sponsors for golf in the morning and Ian's "Bad Pants Open" Charity event followed in the afternoon.

Special thanks to the many PGA Professionals that participated throughout the day and host PGA Professional Jeff Drimel and Medina Golf and Country Club for hosting the event.
