2010 APPRENTICE PLAYING ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for playing privileges in 2010 an apprentice must not be suspended by the PGA of America, must have completed the Apprentice Orientation in the Minnesota Section and attend one of the following business meetings prior to competing in any Section events:

Brent Snyder of Troy Burne GC shot 5-under par 67 to win the first Assistant's Event of the season at Somerby GC. Two shots back were Kris Kroetsch of Fargo CC, Eddie Wynne of StoneRidge GC, Ben Greve of Medina G&CC, Matt Norgaard of Somerby GC, and Chris Bailey of North Oaks GC who all shot 3-under par 69. Matt Norgaard of Somerby GC shot 1-under par 71 to win Assistant´s Event #2 at Town & CC. One stroke back was Ryan Paulson of GolfTec and Phillip Olson of Bearpath G&CC was two strokes back at 1-over par 73. Results

Ryan Paulson of GolfTec shot 2-under par 70 to win Assistant´s Event #3 at Chaska Town Course. One stroke back was Tim Brovold of Bunker Hills GC. Results
JESSE NELSON WINS ASSISTANT'S EVENT #4
Jesse Nelson of Deacon's Lodge shot 4-under par 140 to win Assistant´s Event #4 at Deacon's Lodge and The Preserve at Grand View Lodge. Three strokes back were Chris Borgen of Hastings CC, Ben Walter of New Richmond GC and Robert Cliff of Brackett's Crossing CC. Results
BORGEN WINS ASSISTANT'S EVENT #5
Hastings Country Club Assistant Professional Chris Borgen shot a 1-under par 71 to win Assistant Event #5 at Dacotah Ridge Golf Club August 23rd. Finishing tied for second at 2-over par 74 were Eddie Wynne of StoneRidge GC and Tim Johnson of Legacy Courses at Craguns. . Results
In the Pro-Am competition, Michael Bohn of Cedar Creek paired with Patrick Bohn to shoot a 7-under par 65 to win in the best-ball format. Special thanks to Dacotah Ridge and PGA Professional Eric Hildreth for hosting the event.

1. Attend a 2009 Section or Chapter Fall Meeting
2. Attend a 2010 Section or Chapter Spring Meeting
3. Attend the Apprentice Orientation in the Minnesota Section (only good one time).
4. Attend the 2010 Minnesota PGA Assistant's Spring Meeting
5. Attend a Minnesota PGA Teaching Division Seminar
6. Attend an approved Minnesota PGA Cracker Barrel Session
The cycle for determining Apprentice eligibility in 2010 will run July 1, 2009-June 30, 2010.2. Attend a 2010 Section or Chapter Spring Meeting
3. Attend the Apprentice Orientation in the Minnesota Section (only good one time).
